Magnetic Attraction

Ever stare at your nails and decide you can't be bothered doing them and force yourself into thinking "i'm rocking the natural look". Then when you cave and finally do them, you less than impressed with the outcome?
Fret no more!
I have found something that helps even the more artistically challenged folk create funky ass nails. Its called nail attract and its by Vivo. Never heard of them? Neither had I until I found them whilst browsing the aisles of Tesco. I was actually so impressed by this nail varnish that I went back and bought more of their products, just to test them out, and was also pleasantly surprised.

So what makes this nail varnish special? Its MAGNETIC! Yeah man! If that doesn't make doing your nails less boring then i dont know what will.

Method:
First off paint on one coat of the varnish and let it dry. This is the boring part but it does help that the varnish is gorgeous and twinkles when you wriggle your fingers. The formula actually dries very quickly so you won't be bored for long.

Now, once coat 1 has dried, paint on a second coat. This is when the magic happens! Whilst the coat is still wet hold the varnish cap (upside down) over the nail for about 10-15 seconds. The closer you hold it to your nail the more pronounced the pattern will be. DO NOT let your nail touch the magnet! It has a little curve on the cap which you can rest on your finger to help prevent such things.

The magic cap with the curve to help.

After the 10-15 seconds take the cap away and hey presto! Magic nail art that only took you a minute to do. As you can see my pattern is a curvy zig-zag line. The pattern is shown on the packaging so you know what one your getting.

I have the colour Dream on which is a kind of musky purple colour with silver shimmer particles. I saw many variations of gold, bronze and a few more purple whilst I was there so it looks like a very rich and luxurious palette. Click here to see.

The varnish retails at £4.99 so a total bargain!

Hope you enjoyed this post, I may review this brand more in the next few months.
