Cover & Go.

So this is part one of my inexpensive foundation reviews that I'm doing to try and prove that there really are a few diamonds in the rough. The first foundation on my list is the Collection 2000, or as its known as just Collection now, Cover and Go.

This is a concealer foundation combo with a mirror in the cap. I thought this was quite a clever idea seeing as when your on the go its alot easier to have mirror, foundation and concealer all together, especially if you travel alot!
Im going to score its quality out of 10  in different categories:
Formula, Cover, Packaging and Price.
So lets get started :)

Formula:
The formula is very creamy and a nice texture, however its one of those foundations that you can tell is on your skin for a while. something that i prefer not to have. However if you can deal with the tacky-ness for a little while (10-30 min) or add powder then all is well. However, i do recommend that if you have combination skin like me, or dry for that matter, you should definitely use a good moisturizer and primer before hand as it seemed to dry up a little and went patchy if i didn't use them.

Cover:
The cover is very slight. Its a bulidable foundation that, when buffed in, looks good no matter how much you put on. Its a good foundation to have in  summer or on holiday as it becomes quite breathable and lets your natural freckles shine through.

Packaging:
The packaging is quite cute but very little in the way of luxury. In short, you can tell its an inexpensive brand and foundation. However, i do find the gold to be a nice touch. The style of packaging is very clever when it has the concealer and mirror in the cap. But I'm not keen on how the foundation comes out, I much prefer foundation pumps.

Price:
£5.99 is an incredibly cheap foundation. I actually couldnt believe it when i got to the till. I think for what it is worth and the quality, its a very good buy for the summer, not so much winter just because of how bad it can look on slightly dry skin.

Formula - 7/10
Cover - 7/10
Packaging - 6/10
Price - 10/10

I hope you enjoyed this review and if you would like to see others reviews on it  or to see the colours its available in (mine was light) click the link below. The next foundation in going to review is the Collection 2000 lasting perfection ultimate wear foundation. So stay tuned for that in the next few days.
