Lasting Perfection.

Lasting perfection. That's what we all want in a foundation right? Well the one I'm reviewing today is literally that. Collection 2000 lasting perfection ultimate wear foundation with 16 hour wear, SPF 20 and oil free. Now that's a lot of promises for a foundation. Hopefully it keeps them. I've had this foundation, like all others I'm reviewing, in my bag for a week and used it whenever I wanted make-up on. I've been very strict and not let myself waver and cave in to my old favourites. Lets hope it pays off.

Formula:
The formula for this is incredible. I actually couldnt believe it. I was well and truly expecting this foundation to let me down because of all the promises it makes but no, pessimistic as always Sarah! Its very blend-able, not at all tacky when applied and you can't tell that you have it on. I got it in two different colours Vanilla and Natural Beige. The darker colour is the natural beige and it seems that the darker the colour is the more yellow the tones. But fear not fellow pale folk, Vanilla and ivory have no yellow tones at all! Overall a very good formula.

Cover:
The cover is medium. It gives off a very flawless finish just as it promises. It makes your skin look very smooth and gets rid of those wee lumps and bumps. What about the 16 hour wear promise I hear you ask? Well I'm not so sure about that. I would say it lasts about 10-12 hours (depending on your skin type) which is incredibly long for a foundation. I didn't use a primer with it as I felt it didn't need it but maybe with one it would last that bit longer. maybe even the 16 hours it promises. The SPF 20 I can't prove if that works but I would like to think it does. Seeing as its been rather hot weather last week, I chose to wear this one and I didn't burn at all on my face (which i usually do in such temperatures) So take that however you like.

Packaging:
The packaging is very nice. The bottle is glass and is the kind that has that matte velvety finish, which I LOVE! It just makes it feel that bit more expensive. The bottle is rather large and due to me using the product quite sparingly (its that good!) I think it will last a long time. 30 ml to be precise. The Cover and go was a little more at 35 ml but i think you needed to use more product each time. The bottle has a pump, which is fantastic. The only issue I had with the packaging was the lid. It seemed to brake very easily when it was in my bag. I've taken it with me for a week and it just seemed to be very fragile, so much so I took to putting it in a little plastic seal baggie just in case it spills in my make-up pouch.

Price:
Once again I'm so excited by this. £5.99! Again! That's just amazing. The foundation is so good I would expect it to be more. Like around £10 or £9. But £5.99! That's just too good to be true. I think i may be going back and buying more.

So far this is my favourite of the ones I've reviewed, I know that's not saying much as its only been two but its pretty perfect. Hopefully you liked this review. There's only two more to go! The next one ill be reviewing is the Maybelline Fit Me foundation. See, they're not all collection after all!
